The skyline in the city docks (close to Bordeaux Quay restaurant) has a new, if temporary, feature: Events in the Sky are operating a pop-up restaurant for the period 7th – 12th September. The company has invited some of Bristol’s best restaurants to transfer their menus and dining experiences to their ‘sky table’, suspended 100 feet in the air (picture right).
The table seats 22 guests, securely fastened into their seats before the table is raised to the dining height of 100 feet. The experience comes at a price: breakfast and ‘pie in the sky’ will each cost £50 per person for a half-hour session and dinner will set you back £150 per person for an hour.
